Production information
Files can be transmitted to FT Business using Wam!Net, FTP, via the Internet or by ISDN. Full details on setting up a connection using any of these methods are available in the PDF document FT Business production transfer details.

FT Business standard digital specification
Our preferred file format is PDF, although we do accept EPSs, and if necessary original application files, such as QuarkXPress and InDesign. For more detailed information download our standard digital format PDF.
File checklist:
- All images should have a resolution of at least 300dpi
- All colours should be CMYK
- All fonts should be embedded in the PDF or EPS
- PDF files should not be created with PDF Writer
- Files should not contain JPEG images
- Files should not contain any TrueType or Bitmap fonts

Please note: The client is responsible for the quality of the digital files they send to FT Business. Supplying sub-standard digital files, or those that do not meet FTB requirements as set out in this document, can result in poor quality reproduction. See also our advertising terms and conditions.
