| Description: | The Banker requires an advertising/sponsorship sales person to join our successful team based in London. The role will involve extensive international travel to secure sponsorship for our Financial Intelligence Roundtables as well as Financial Intelligence Guides. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing business from financial centres in the form of supplement reports and be asked to collaborate with other FTB titles and events in securing a ‘complete package’ for clients. Key to the role will be the understanding of topic areas which will yield interest and sponsorship. You will be expected to know market trends in finance and banking and be able to convert those into business for The Banker. You will also work with your manager to establish a programme of topics and travel to ensure a steady flow of business on a monthly basis. Much of your focus to begin with will be on global capital markets and international financial centres. You will form part of a group of sales people that have succeeded every year in passing budget expectations for The Banker, as such, the ideal person will be aware of the responsibility they have each month to exceed budgets. They must be able to handle their work flow accordingly and anticipate what needs to be done with the minimum amount of intervention from your manager. |
