Description:An opportunity has arisen for a commercially aware, articulate, self-starter to join the Investors Chronicle Sales team as a Display Sales Executive. The ideal candidate will have 1 year’s experience in sales with excellent face to face and presentation skills. Experience in selling to West End agencies and the consumer marketplace is advantageous as the role will require growing revenue across our product range from all areas of personal finance.
Keytasks:Generate new business revenue and contribute in the achievement of hitting the monthly revenue and yield targets. Much of this new business will come from selling to existing clients and new clients within the consumer market. To ensure the I.C. is professionally represented in existing advertising agencies and clients to maximise yields, revenue and share.
Develop new business with new consumer advertisers to increase revenue at budgeted yield.
Sell across our portfolio of products, including the IC, Supplements, Online, Events and Investor Guides
Prioritise own work schedule whilst working closely with the Senior Sales Executive
Identify new business areas and convert into revenue generating business
Generate new and creative ideas to achieve and exceed targets.

Ability to grow market share and yield in a very competitive marketplace

Able to demonstrate commitment to longer term sales career
Demonstration of a successful track record working within a team environment with good knowledge of the broad personal consumer arena
Preferred skills:Working Knowledge of TGI Premier
PowerPoint, excel, word etc.
Knowledge of Financial clients and agencies within the industry.
