Description:Pensions Week is looking for a highly motivated news editor to take responsibility for generating and editing news on this busy weekly title. Covering the increasingly important and fast-changing UK pensions industry, the role represents the opportunity for a financial journalist to develop their career and shape the future of a leading trade publication.
Keytasks:Generating exclusive news to a high standard and setting an example to the rest of the news teamCoping under pressure and continuing to drive news content forward with original and new ideasFeature writing as and when necessaryRepresenting the PW and FT Business brands effectively at all levels of the pensions industry
Essential skills:Ability to work to tight deadlines and produce exceptionally high standards of copyAbility to edit news efficiently and work cooperatively with the production teamGood knowledge and understanding of the pensions and investment arenaPrevious experience as a journalist on a financial trade publication
