Description:Selling advertising and sponsorship packages to product providers in the pensions industry in the UK both over the telephone and in person.
Keytasks:Managing allocation of existing clients across display, online, classified and increasing their spend with us
Identifying and converting new prospects
Majority of work will be phone based
Essential skills:Self-starter, keen to build a career in financial publishing
Good interpersonal skills for effective selling and account management
Professional manner and mature approach
Preferred skills:Previous experience of selling Events – Awards, conferences, seminars – and Online
Interest in financial services industry including pensions and the business press
Effective sales and negotiation skills both with clients and advertising agencies
Good working knowledge of Word, Excel, Powerpoint
