Please be aware that these places are strictly limited, available on a first come, first serve basis and are offered subject to review and approval by the Publisher.
If you would like to apply for one of these places, please complete your registration in the usual way, selecting the complimentary option (where available) and once received we will contact you within five working days to confirm whether or not you have been successful in securing one of these places.
If unsuccessful please be aware that paying places are offered subject to availability and venue limitation, should you wish to attend as a standard paying delegate.
-
For paying places, what is included in the delegate fee?
The delegate fee includes your place at the event, access to speaker presentations (where provided), refreshments at times specified on the event programme and lunch (where provided). Those attending on a complimentary basis also receive all of the above.
-
How will I know if my registration has been successful?
When your registration has been received and completed, we will send you an email confirming receipt and advising that it is being reviewed for approval/payment. Once reviewed, we will respond within five working days to confirm if your application has been successful.
If successful we will confirm your place at the event in the usual way, if unsuccessful then you will still receive notification.

I have registered for the conference but am unable to attend, what can I do?
We understand that due to unforeseen work commitments or changes to personal circumstances, delegates are sometimes unable to attend our events. To mitigate this we operate a flexible policy where you can send a replacement delegate to attend any event at no extra cost, subject to qualification. If a replacement delegate is unable to attend then the following cancellation fees apply:
Changes, Cancellations and Postponements
Whilst our programmes are correct at the time of going to press, in certain circumstances it may be necessary for FT to alter the content, format, venue or timing of an Event. All delegates will be notified of such changes prior to the Event.
If you cannot attend an Event for which you have registered, please contact FT as soon as possible (and in any event no later than 24 hours before the Event) at [email protected] or Marketing Department, Financial Times Live Global Conferences & Events, Number One Southwark Bridge, London SE1 9HL, United Kingdom. FT may at our absolute discretion allow you to send a substitute in your place or allow you to attend the next available Event (provided that FT has received the details of such substitute).
If you notify us that you wish to cancel your attendance at an Event for which a Fee is payable, then cancellation charges shall apply as follows (please note that refunds may take up to 14 working days), which you agree represent a genuine pre-estimate of the costs FT will incur as a result of cancellation:
|
Written notice received by us |
% of Fee to be charged |
| > 30 days prior to the first day of the Event |
10% |
| Between 14 days and 29 days prior to the first day of the Event |
The greater of £120 or 50% |
| < 14 days prior to the first day of the Event |
100% |
FT may in exceptional circumstances need to postpone or cancel an Event, and we will notify you as soon as reasonably practicable of any such postponement or cancellation. If an Event is cancelled, or if an Event is postponed and you cannot attend the rearranged date, we will refund any Fees you have paid in advance within 8 weeks. You agree that FT's liability to you will be limited to the amount of the Fees you have paid and FT will not be liable to you for any expenditure, damage or loss incurred by you as a result of the cancellation or postponement.
