FT Business is the magazine business of Financial Times Group, which is owned by Pearson Plc.

In common with all Pearson companies, FT Business combines rich content and a powerful brand. While the UK magazines and conferences divisions focus primarily on financial markets.

The roots of FT Business go back to the 1920s, when Brendan Bracken (who in 1945 bought the Financial Times) launched The Banker and bought Investors Chronicle.

In 1970, Money Management was added to the portfolio, and soon after a separate division was formed for magazines.
